Ingra BROZZI SpA, specialized in processing animal fats and by-products of slaughter, is a leader in its sector .

The Italian acronym "Ingra": Industria (Industry) Nazionale (National) Grassi (Fats) Raffinati (Fine) Alimentari (Food), is followed by BROZZI, this name indicates a successful dynasty: Oliviero, Henry, Walter, assisted by the new generation, Franco, Barbara and Piergiorgio.

The great adventure of the BROZZI, the great experience in the processing of animal fats and by-products of slaughter started from beginning of the century.

All that began with a delicatessen shop. In the'20s, Dante Brozzi with his wife Dirce Marcheselli opened two stores: one in Cogozzo and the other in Viadana.

They knew their job very well and they were known throughout the province. It was impossible to give up the delicacy of their products.

In 1947 they opened a third butcher in Viadana.

It was a period of real boom for pork slaughter and they had a winning idea: working animal fat to get lard.

In 1950 Ingra BROZZI opened in Cogozzo and the small family business became an industrial giant in the production of lard and meal for pet-food use.

In 1970 a second factory Ingra BROZZI SPA opened at Concordia, next to Modena, it attends a different market: animal supply, pet-food and fertilizer industry.

Ingra BROZZI trucks go among the largest slaughterhouses in northern and central Italy collecting pig fat parts and slaughtering by-products. The distribution points for Ingra BROZZI products are located throughout Italy and in the major countries CEE and extra CEE.

Ingra BROZZI brand in more than fifty years of commendable work, has reached a total statement and it become a true leader in the field of "refining" lard for alimentary use and in the production of fats and meat for the zootechnic sector, the pet-food and fertilizer industry.
